Blauvelt Photography Bids Farewell

Dear Friends and Clients,

The Blauvelt's are filled with mixed emotions as we bid farewell to our valued clientele. 2008 will mark our 50th and last year of business in Arlington. Suzy and I have retired as of May 1st, 2008.  Our daughter Summer and son, Charlie had planned on taking over the business. Unfortunately, Charlie's vision was severely impaired in a recent laser surgery operation leaving him unable to carry on the family business. Charlie has begun a new career as a financial advisor for Edward D. Jones.  Summer is excited about exploring new opportunities.

It has been an honor and privilege to record the growth of your families and to share in your most joyous occasions. It was always a thrill for us to photograph a newborn child or a young bride knowing we photographed the same event for their parents over 20 years ago and sometimes even their grandparent's over 40 years ago. We have truly been blessed. It has been a fun, rewarding profession. Thank you! We will always cherish your loyal patronage and friendship.
